Sidewalk and retaining wall

Hey everyone,

Wife and I have buckled up to take on 4 challenging projects as outsourcing is so expensive for us, so we appreciate your ideas & experiences

First project:

I'm thinking of putting low height retaining wall and build deck on it (dual purpose) so it can be at the same height as door.

Any suggestions please let us know,

Have a good look at How to build a low-level deck as it will provide a good overview of the considerations you'll need to make.
