How to fix rubber between concrete pavers on driveway?

Hello All,

In reference to attached image, the weeds occupied the rubber in between the concrete along the drive way and they were removed. The rubber inbetween the concrete came out and wondering on how to fix this.

I'd suggest starting by removing the remaining soil from the expansion joint. You can rake it out with a tool; something like a screwdriver would work, or if you have a pressure washer, that would likely do a good job at blasting it out. Next, take some appropriately sized filler rod that is slightly thicker than the gap and push it down into the gap. Place it around 10mm deep into the gap. The filler rod fills the lower void and prevents you from using an excessive amount of joint filler. Use Sikaflex 11FC to fill the 10mm deep gap, so it's flush with the concrete surface. Then whilst wearing a latex glove or by dipping your finger in soapy water, smooth off the top of the filler. Be careful not to get the filler on your skin, as it can be difficult to remove.

The Sika product will give you a nice flexible joint that won't crack and will prevent debris from filling the joint in the future.
