Backyard garden

This garden was designed around the big urn that my husbands boss was throwing out. It sat in the garden amongst the grass waiting for its time to shine. Bunnings supplied the rest!

Step 1

We had a builder come in to do the deck.

Step 2

We built the merbau screen.

Step 3

Waterproofed the urn.

Step 4

Added the solar pump.

Step 5

Added the fake plant tiles.

Step 6

Spray painted the screens.

Step 7

Planted out with different plants.

That backyard garden looks beautiful. The Merbau screen provides a great backdrop for the urn. How did you get the idea to feature the urn in a raised garden bed? Did you face any particular challenges along this project? And how did you overcome them?
