Upcycled BBQ stand to outdoor server

The Old gas bbq stand had stopped working after many years. Removed the gas burner. Repurposed the gas burner area with Kiwila timer to make an attractive outdoor food server.

Materials

Kwila timber, Brass screws.

Tools

Bosh Blue drill drivers.

Steps

Step 1

1. Remove the old gas burner.

Step 2

2. Cut backing Kwila boards  on for the front and one for the back. install backing boards to front and back of BBQ stand

Step 3

3. Cut and install Kwila boards in the area occupied by the Gas burner. 

Step 4

4. Coat the entire BBQ stand with Kwila decking oil.

Great upcycle there, @Oreoprojects! I bet it works a treat for a bit of alfresco dining. All it needs now is a little drinks caddy off to one side. Maybe a chilly bin underneath?
