Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.
I am currently looking to replace my current externally mounted sliding door in our bathroom with an internal/cavity/pocket slider version. The door gap/opening is a standard 820x2040ish size. A friend has gifted me a 2340 cavity frame which was a left over from their renovations is it ok for me to cut down the 2340 frame so it works for my current 2040 door/cutout? any suggestions on whether top or bottom is better to cut or anything I need to be wary of when doing this? or is it a no-go and if I want to use the frame I need to keep the 2340 opening?
Appreciate any assistance. It's my first try at this type of thing!
