I go to garden centres or gaze at Pinterest and longingly wish that I could make my own garden art. Does anyone else ever feel that way.?..
Hi @Cattyone,
Welcome to Workshop. We're rapt you could join us and are sure that the community would love to help you learn new skills and improve on others.
I do know that community members like @Brad, @She_Skills, @royq and @Noyade have welding skills, so they might like to share some tips for getting started. Meg (@She_Skills) has a background in teaching women woodworking and other D.I.Y. skills so she might be particularly helpful, although unfortunately she is not based in Melbourne.
Please feel free to post whenever you need a hand, and let me know if you ever need help getting the most from this site.
Thanks again,
Jason

I don't know how to weld but I imagine that you'd want to get someone skilled to teach you in a safe environment as it could be dangerous. Perhaps do a reputable course?
