How to fix a leaking shower head?

Hi team,  noticed that our shower head is leaking.  Thought it might need replacing (it is old) however Google has suggested it might be an issue with the tap? I'm not sure, would love to get a plumber in but my bank account implies that I should try it myself if I can, haha. 

Have attached a photo of the shower head, the taps and the under side of one of the taps as it appears to just have a tiny hole and no obvious place to unscrew it should I need to? 

Any suggestions on where to start would be grand, thank you!

To determine the cause of the leak, we need to pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from. If water is dripping from the shower head even when the taps are turned off, it likely means that the ceramic disc spindle in the tap needs replacing. Since there is a noticeable drip from the left-hand tap, this could indeed be the issue.

Start by turning off your mains hot water supply and then open the tap to drain any remaining water. You’ll need an Allen key to remove the tap handle. Look for a small hole on the handle; this is where you’ll insert the Allen key to undo the grub screw, which is usually a 2.5mm size. One of these Allen key kits should work.

Once the grub screw is removed, the handle should come off easily. Underneath, you’ll find the spindle, which can be unscrewed using a tap spanner. Bring the spindle to your nearest Bunnings store, where a member of our Plumbing team can help you find a suitable replacement.

Reverse these steps to reassemble everything.
