What type of grass is this and how to maintain it?

Can anyone tell me what type of grass I have and the best way to maintain it please.

It looks like you have buffalo grass. The patchy areas in your lawn are likely due to compaction, which can prevent healthy growth. To restore these sections, I’d recommend aerating the soil to improve drainage and air circulation, then adding a layer of quality topsoil before laying new buffalo turf. Regular watering and a good lawn fertiliser will also help encourage strong regrowth.
