It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a chair.The tear in your outdoor sling chairs is along the edge where the material is held in place by the retaining spline. Unfortunately, because the material and spline are inserted using a machine at the factory, attempting a manual repair could compromise the safety and durability of the chair. In this case, it may be best to consider replacing the chairs themselves.
