How to seal gaps around aluminium window frame and Hebel?

Hello all, trying to find out what the highlighted black stuff is? Need more to use it in other spots to fill in the gaps and/or stick down the seal below the window frame.

Feels like blutack or putty.

I hope that whatever this is, it can be used to stick to aluminum frames, seals and hebel.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @CptHowdy. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about window sealant.
 

I would hazard a guess and say that it is likely polyurethane sealant similar to Sikaflex11FC. It's the most common sealant for these types of joints and sticks to just about anything. Just ensure you give the Hebel a good scrub to remove any loose particles before applying the sealant.
