How do I screed and tile before wall hung vanity installation?

We have just removed our old floor standing vanity to replace it with a wall hung vanity to find that whoever prior actually sunk the floor vanity into the floor, and now we have a big hole approx 900 x 450 big. We need to fill it and then tile it so as not to look like an eyesore any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.after the floor vanity was removed we discovered this

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your sunken floor area.

My first suggestion is to cover the PVC pipe with a plastic bag and securing it with a rubber band or sticky tape. This will prevent the sewer gasses from entering the room. In regards to the sunken section of the floor, I suggest using BondCrete to prime the surface of the area and using MaxPRO 20kg Concrete Mix or similar to fill the space. You'll need to use a Hyde 178mm Pointing Trowel to level and flatten the concrete. It's important to allow the concrete to fully cure before you decide to tile over it. Any trapped moisture inside the concrete will have a negative effect on the tile adhesive if tiled too early.

My best advice is to make sure that you have good air circulation in the room to facilitate quick drying.
