How to replace carpet edging?

Hi, 

I have an older carpet with an unsightly edge (not sure of correct terminology, please refer to photos) that I want to change.

At this point I'm just changing the edge thingy, not the carpet. What product should I use to update my existing edge? The measurements are 94cm long x 4cm wide. Thank you in advance. Carpet edge thingy

There are quite a number of transition pieces available at the store. I suggest visiting the store nearest to you and having a look at what's in stock.

Here are some samples of standard transition replacement sets:

• Roberts 30mm x 1.65m Bronze Floating Floor Transition Trim - in combination with Roberts Ramp And Cover Trim Plugs - 10 Pack.
   
• Roberts 32mm x 0.825m Bronze Hammered Cover Strip Trim 
   
• Roberts 1.65m Silver Floating Floor Senior Trim 
   
• Metal Mate 28.5 x 4.75mm 1M Aluminium Crescent Mould - 1m

These transition pieces do exactly what you currently have on your floor. Some will need to be trimmed so that they will fit, they can be glued and nailed into to place.
