A very colourful mosaic of flowers made from glass pieces and mirror especially for the outdoors.
Marine ply was utilised to suit outdoor conditions.
Most supplies were purchased from Bunnings and this piece was created and completed during lockdown in Victoria. This piece will continuously remind us of the difficult times experienced by all Victorian’s, therefore colourful glass was utilised for happier times to come.
Steps
Step 1
Cut marine board to required size
Painted board with outdoor paint
Designed from imagination on board
Cut glass and mirror when required
Glued glass and mirror to marine board
Mixed chosen coloured grout
Grouted in between glass
cleaned geout off utilising water and sponge
Brushed excess grout off
Polished glass using methylated soirits
places hooks behind marine ply for hanging
