I've picked up a chipped marble table and was wondering what DIY options are there for filling in the chip? the chunk that fell out is not available unfortunately 😕 it's a 5cm long chip but it's v shallow. or is this a "pros only" situation ?

With small chips, I would usually recommend PC-11 56g White Epoxy Paste and then painting it to match, but it would not be imperceptible and would likely look worse than it does now.
Unfortunately, with a chip of that size and the quality of the stone, I couldn't recommend a D.I.Y. solution that would do justice to the beautiful marble on your table.
I'd suggest you contact a professional who specialises in marble stone benchtop repairs.
