single. No money. So fitted out my whole van from Forbes Bunnings off cut box . Only cost was fittings and screws , glue. Total cost of whole project , minus bedding etc about $150. . Now traveled Australia near and far. Having great fun with my dog . Works perfectly . Use a canister gas stove , and now frying pan, for cooking when not on power. Have an 12 volt rechargeable shower head and collapsing bucket for shower. A rubber Bunnings’s mat on ground . I put a curtain between my two back doors for shower . Also have a Bunnings DVD player and small TV when a reception available. Couldn’t afford a professional fit out , so I did this myself as I found suitable off cuts to add in more. Oh and paint used was a “wrong” mix paint

Steps
Step 1
Raid the off cut box every time I went to Bunnings in Forbes. Started with a “ box “ type set up for the bed. Then added a “box” which slides out , lift up lid in front of original box and a cupboard to make bed bigger ( queen) and add more storage , white board off cuts and chip board off cuts used, and or cover boards, hinges , screws, latches, only things I needed to buy .added on more cupboards as I found suitable off cuts. Now have “ kitchen “ cupboard and a cupboard over battery box. Fold up table made from off cuts used and old fold up stool. Battery box also acts as a seat . Love it all. Oh and my trusty old Makita tools.
