G'day.
I'm looking at increasing the height of my current 1500mm colorbond fence to 2100mm for privacy.
The fence on the other side was knocked down timber and replaced with trim deck colourbond 1800 height + 300mm slattice.
Using the 600mm extension posts is one able to use that, remove the existing 1500 sheeting, install 1800 sheeting, top rail, then add the slattice and another top rail. (As shown of image 2, picture from Google images)
Or, would I need to do as image 1, use of 600mm extensions, add bottom rail, 600mm sheet, add top rail. Done.
The existing fence is structurally sound and am looking at budget costs and the new landlords is not interested in paying for the fence extension for privacy matters.
On another note we do live in a high wind area.
Thanks for your help and advice in advance!
