How to fix uneven concrete slab driveway?

There was a tree on the side that lifted the concrete slab, so it is higher than the lower concrete slab. It has been like this for 10 years, I marked the level with red pen, the slab is not moving, so I never bothered to fix it. But now I am thinking about selling the house. 

Is there any way to leveling the concrete slab without rebuild it? 

I heard someone mentioned concrete resurfacting or toppping, or patching compound on top.

Given the significant height difference, one option is to have a professional come in and grind down the raised edge so it is less noticeable and no longer a tripping hazard. Another approach is to use a structural grout or concrete patch to create a tapered ramp from the higher slab down to the lower one. Often, a combination of grinding down the edge slightly and then tapering it off with the grout works best, resulting in a smoother transition.

 

Keep in mind that the surface will need to be prepared, usually by grinding, so the new grout or patch will bond properly. The long-term durability of the repair is somewhat uncertain. Any small movement in the slabs could cause the grouted section to crack or expand over time, so while this can improve safety and appearance for sale, it may not be a permanent fix.
