Tiles on patios were gloss but most of them have dads, is there a paint that I can put on them preferably a floor paint or a clear gloss?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @carol7. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about patio tiles.Could you provide a bit more detail about the tiles, and if possible, please upload an image of them? I can assist if you need help with uploading images.
It’s also important to clarify the difference between tiles and pavers, as this affects what can be done. Pavers, which are cement-based and porous, can usually be repainted or coated because the surface allows paint to adhere. However, if your patio has tiles, particularly glazed tiles, paints generally won’t stick, and I am not aware of any exterior floor paints or clear glosses that will reliably adhere. If the gloss has faded, there might be ways to polish or restore the surface somewhat, but painting over glazed tiles on the floor isn’t practical, as the paint will scratch off quickly with foot traffic and exposure to debris. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
