I can see a long roof support in my carport that looks like it might be coming away, it's possibly dropped a little. All the other timber joins are right angled and have metal brackets for support but this one that runs at a diagonal looks to only have been nailed in. These photos might not be the clearest but you can see some gaps have formed and I'm not sure if I need to provide some extra support for this timber by way of a bracket or something? Given it's not a right angle a lot of the ready made brackets are out- would something like this bent to the correct angle then fixed at either end provide good support? https://www.bunnings.com.au/carinya-200-x-100-x-1mm-galvanised-flat-plate-make-a-bracket_p3975858 . Thanks!
