Can I use Ozito pump for 40psi sprinkler system?

Hi all,

I’m a complete newbie at irrigation systems. I would like to run 3 x MP3000 and 1 x MP3500 nozzles on PRS40 pop ups using an Ozito 800W Constant Pressure Pump. Does this pump have sufficient pressure to run my proposed system?

I have tried researching and the answers are conflicting.

The Ozito 800W Constant Pressure Pump has a psi of 145(1000kPa), so that would cover a 40psi system. Flow rate also needs to be taken into account, and this unit can operate at 60 litres per minute. These nozzles appear to have a max flow of around 15 litres per minute, so you'll just be able to achieve their max flow rate.

I do note in the product specs that the MP3500 has a minimum kPa of 170, and the MP3000 has 280. That would be above a 40psi system. Your best bet would be to speak with the manufacturer of the sprinklers and provide the specs of the Ozito unit to confirm it is capable of operating them.
