How to build DIY fence trellis?

Hi all,
I am about to undertake a DIY fence trellis that will not be a permanent fixture on our fence.
The distance between our fence and perimeter concrete is 0.395m. I am planning to use 90*90mm posts, cut to 1.98m in height.

I don't want to set the post directly into the ground; instead I would like to use anchors. Can you please advise me how deep the hole for the anchor should be, and what the required diameter would be also.

Hi @NewHomeOwner,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Being that it is a trellis, which will allow wind to pass through it, so you won't experience the same lateral wind loads that you would with a standard fence, you should be ok using post anchors concreted in place.

I would suggest using these Pryda 300x90mm M10 Full Stirrup Post Anchors with a 600mm deep hole, 300mm in diameter.
