How to install sliding screen door?

Currently our house has no sliding screen door at the rear of the house for ventilation/insect proofing.

To remedy this, I bought a second-hand door frame and cut the aluminum frame to fit the space.

As it is only the frame, no screen (easy for me to fit) and no carriage or rollers at the top or bottom of the door, I need to purchase the correct rollers and carriages to complete the job.

The aluminum door frame is 20mm thick (external measurement) and 16mm (internal measurement).

Thanks for sharing your question about your sliding screen door. The wheel assembly that you can use depends on the height of the aluminium framing. For example, I was going to suggest using the Rolltrak Adjustable Heavy Duty Nylon Carriage And Roller. The carriage height is stated as 62mm so your screen doors framing must be at least 70mm++ so that the wheel carriage will fit. There are shorter assemblies, but this particular one is made for heavy duty use so it should be able to handle screen doors weight.

Installation will require you to drill into the bottom of the screen door and cut a hole big enough for the carriage to fit in but not so big that it passes right through. The carriage I suggested has screw fittings at the bottom to prevent it from being pulled out.  

In regards to the top rail section, there is no need for a wheel assembly only the bottom section of the door requires rollers.
