Why won’t my hose stay on the Ozito pressure washer?

I have tried multiple hoses, multiple fittings…

but every time I try to turn the machine on the hose pops straight off!

I’ve just spent 90mins trying to troubleshoot. It’s a brand new machine. I tried turning the machine on and opening the pressure trigger first before turning hose on… I tried the opposite way to that, I tried a different fixture on the machine’s outlet instead of the default one…

what am I doing wrong?! Why won’t this thing stay attached?!

In order for us to provide you with helpful advice can you please tell us the exact machine you have in your possession (Ozito machine type and number). Can you also please post a photo of the hose connection you are trying to connect to? This will give our members a better idea of what you are working with. We can then make recommendations on possible solutions. Can you also please post a photo of the garden hose connected to the machine? This will also help us diagnose if there is a connection problem.

The hose adapter to your machine appears to be in good condition and so does your hose connector. I can only conclude that the hose has not been pushed far enough into the connector and is not locking into place. Observe carefully how your hose end is in the full locked position, this is what it has to look like when you push the hose with firm force, and it locks into place. Failure to lock the hose in place will result in disconnection.

I propose tyring one more time, but this time push the hose with moderate force to make sure that the locking mechanism on the hose engages. Please give it a try and if it still fails to latch on, I propose bringing the unit back to the store where you purchased it from and explaining to the service desk what has happened. Please make sure that you bring your docket with you.
