My dog has been busy digging around these, outside my bathroom, used to be lovely grass!  Do I just refill with garden soil or should I use sand or pea gravel first and then soil? Thanks 🙂

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
If you are looking to return the ground around these drains to the state they were in before, there is no real need to add anything different.
I would simply shift the soil that has been dug out back into position and lightly compact it with your feet.
If there is still a bit of a depression, you can top it up with some Top Dress Mix.
