How to add fence extension to sloped Colorbond fence?

Hi team,

Hoping to extend the current fence height to allow for increased privacy. Plan will be to add cables then grow star-jasmine or the like.

Any tips on how to maintain the slope-line, and if possible for someone who isn't super handy!

I was also thinking of planting some hedging rather than fence extensions. Do you have any advice on good hedging plants?

Planting a hedge in front of your Colorbond fence is a great alternative, @william_wallace, as it softens the look of the fence and provides natural privacy. Some excellent hedging choices would include Lilly Pilly (Syzygium or Acmena varieties), which are fast-growing and dense, Viburnum for lush coverage, Murraya (Mock Orange) for a compact and fragrant option, Photinia ‘Red Robin’ for its striking red new growth, and Pittosporum ‘Silver Sheen’ or ‘James Stirling’ for a light, modern look.
