I have just purchased this weed killer.

When I turn on there is nothing pumping and there is no suction from the tube into the tank.
It is a brand new product.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @craigvn. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Ryobi sprayers.I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your sprayer. Just to start with the simplest problem, have you ensured the battery is fully charged and you've pressed the start button under the handle on the unit?
If the unit does not spray when the trigger is depressed after starting, then it is potentially faulty. I'd suggest returning it with your receipt to the store of purchase. The only other thing I can think of is that the nozzle is tightened down into the off position. Try turning it anti-clockwise.
Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
Definitely charged, and I have pressed the button. The unit hums, but nothing really happens.
That's very odd, @craigvn, and from reading through the manual, there's nothing else I could put my finger on that could be wrong. I do apologise, but it might be best for one of our team members in-store to check it out for you and swap over if necessary.
