This outdoor area was built to cater for the various BBQs I have, particularly the Traeger Pellet Grill. The flattop grill is a Jumbuck from Bunnings. The cabinetry was purchased secondhand on Facebook Marketplace and sanded and painted. It houses various cooking utensils and crockery.
The Butcher’s Block was also purchased on Marketplace and sanded and painted to match other furniture.
The stools and table were purchased on discount.
The gazebo is another Bunnings product, which was painted to match other furniture.
The gas supply is LPG but piped to an outlet for the BBQ, which does away with the 8.5 LPG cylinders.
Miniorb was installed to give the area a ‘finished’ look as well as screening an undeveloped area in the yard.
Steps
Step 1
The gazebo was painted prior to erection.
The concrete slab was put down by a family friend who is a builder.
Other friends helped with the erection of the gazebo.
Another family friend built the nib wall and organised the plumber and electrician to install the services.
The area has lighting, PowerPoints and gas outlets.
