When I purchased this house 8 years ago, this outdoor area had a useable structure but with shade cloth and overgrown vines everywhere.
My first stage was to remove all the vegetation and shade cloth.
The second stage involved roofing the structure. This was not as simple as I anticipated and required demolition of the existing structure and rebuilding to meet specifications.
following this, lighting was installed.
A Matador Outdoor Kitchen was installed in a temporary manner and a secondhand Jumbuck Pizza Oven purchased.
I was fortunate to have many spare bricks which were used to build a nib wall on two sides of the area.
Finally, gas outlets were installed which meant 8.5 kg LPG cylinders were no longer required. PowerPoints were installed as well as plumbing for the sink.
This area gets used virtually on a daily basis, with a secondhand fireplace used in winter and evaporative air cooler in summer.
A television is also installed for entertainment.
