How to install aluminium post in marble tile?

Hi everyone

i have received retractable wave sail shed and I am planning to install 4 aluminum post to Marble stone floor of 30 mm thickness.

the length of the retractable runner shed is 16 meter , width is 2.4 meter.

how can i install these posts to be fixed safely to ground?

if need to cut the marble stone , how we can do it?

The first thing to clarify is exactly what type of posts these are and how the manufacturer recommends fixing them. The posts are usually designed to be secured in a specific way, so it’s best to start there. Are the posts round or square, and how are they meant to attach to the ground? Typically, you wouldn’t fix them directly onto the marble, as marble tiles alone won’t provide enough strength. You’ll need to anchor into the sub-base beneath the marble.

Do you know if there’s concrete under the tiles, or are they laid on a compacted base? That will make a big difference to the right fixing method.

If the posts are the type that need to be concreted in, you’d likely need to remove sections of the marble, core or cut through to the sub-base, and set the posts in concrete. Once the posts are secure, the marble can be cut and refitted neatly around them.
