Overhead cabinet including hidden rangehood

Hi,

Appreciate all thoughts in advance!

I am thinking of installing overhead cabinets, unsure where to start but I know what I want.

I want the colour of the overhead cabinet to match my pantry, I want to make use of the deadspace and include a hidden overhead cabinet. I have no experience in renovating, will this project be too difficult for me?

Are you planning on changing the pantry too? Obviously you couldn't have the pantry door opening out into the new cabinet.

What are you planning to store in the new cabinet?
