Hi crew,
I’m working out how many clips I’ll need to install Ekodeck on a timber subframe and want to double-check the correct clip setup at the fascia edges.
The deck is 6 m in length, so the boards are laid in a brickwork pattern. I’ll have fascia boards on two sides, using Ekodeck edge boards, with four standard boards on top. Product is Leatherwood Designer Series with 6 mm gaps.
At the fascia edge where the top boards start, I’ve seen guides showing a C-clip used to start the run. My question is about the opposite side of the board run, where the top boards meet the fascia again.
Do I need to use another C-clip on that side, or can I use standard locking clips to secure the boards against the fascia?
What will be the best process for this?
I’ve attached a few very high-quality drawings to try and explain the layout and edge detail 😂.
Any advice from people who’ve done a similar setup would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
Joel
