How to fix leaking recycled water tap?

I’m a single mum and need help or advice on how to fix this leak. Landlord said I have to fix it myself and they are not sending someone to fix it for me. I was told by GWW that if the meter is not running, that means that our recycled water is off but I have noticed that there was some leak. The water is leaking from the silver round thing attached on the brick. Please let me know what should I do. Thank you 🙏

This is a tricky situation. Unfortunately, a leaking tap like this counts as a plumbing fixture, so it isn’t really something you can safely fix yourself. To stop the leak, a plumber would need to disconnect the tap, reattach it correctly, and use plumber’s tape or appropriate fittings to seal it. This type of work is considered plumbing and is not a DIY job.

Normally, fixing leaking taps wouldn't be something a tenant would do, so it is unusual that you’ve been asked to handle it yourself. In this case, the safest way to resolve it is to contact a licensed plumber to repair or replace the tap.
