How to replace bathroom tiles?

Hi 

I’m after some advice on cost and difficulty (big job or relatively doable) regarding a bathroom floor/wall re-tile. The photos show the current tiling- we’re also wanting to put a new vanity against the back wall (so it’s facing you as you walk in). is someone able to list the process of what needs to be done? (Remove currently tiles, remove and attach new vanity, retile, waterproof etc?)

Thanks for sharing your question about removing the tiles in your bathroom. Due to the amount of damage that will be inflicted on the plaster wall, plus the effort of repairing and replastering it, I propose cutting out the plaster wall and removing it along with the tiles. It will save you time and effort by simply removing the plaster wall along with the tiles attached to it. Once those sections have been removed you can then put new plasterboard on and plaster seal the joints.

Once the repairs have been made you can retile the wall easily. Please keep in mind that any section that needs waterproofing will need to be addressed first before tiling.
