How to install Estilio 3 function 1/2 twin rails shower set?

I am trying to install the Estilio 3 function 1/2 twin rails shower set. When I attach the brass nipple to the wall outlet it does not go in far enough.  The wall plates and shower diverter do not sit flush to wall and the copper nipple connection is exposed.  Is there a connection I can get or will this set simply not work.  Thanks

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower set.

It's possible that an extra cover plate might be necessary to cover up the gap. The Kinetic 15mm 1/2" BSP 10mm 3/8" Rise Chrome Cover Plate might be tall enough to cover the gap, but I suggest measuring the gap you currently have and having a look at the different cover plates as they come in various heights. The general steps would be to install the extra cover plate first before you put on the actual cover plate of the shower set. In essence that should take up the slack, and you will not see a gap.
