I moved in to a newly build home of mine 2 days ago , with a laminated floorboard, and I am thinking of coating the floor with P.U sealer, is it a right idea?

If it is artificial laminated flooring, I suggest not putting any polyurethane sealing on it. Would it be possible for you to post a photo of the floor? This will give our members a better idea of what it looks like. Once we see it, we will be able to give you a comprehensive recommendation on what to use on your floor.
