Hi. Don’t know where to start here. Need some advice re the structure and what panelling to use. Also I need air flow and want access from one side so I can remove filter element and clean.

I suggest reading this post - How to make a wooden pool pump cover? by @lbell. In that discussion tools and materials were discussed on how to build a custom pool pump cover.
Would it be possible for you to post a picture of your pool pump and its measurements? It will give our members a better idea of its layout. We can then make an assessment and offer you suggestions on how to build the cover.
It sounds like a great project, any updates you can provide while building it would be much appreciated.
