How to match bathroom basin spindles?

went to replace the bathroom basin tapware with some estilo tapware. After finally getting off the spindle. As pictured it has a different length to it. Old on the right. New on the left. 

other than replacing the entire fitting, is there a way to get a spindles with that length or an extender of sorts?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @wiseman. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing basin spindles.

Your current spindles are designed for a deep seat. I'd suggest you swap over what you've purchased for Shaw & Mason Chrome Plated Deep Seat Basin Spindles. These will be much closer to your original size and will most likely suit.

Let me know how you go with those, and if you are still having issues, we can look at alternative options.
