How to repair cracked concrete balustrade?

I am wanting to find out if this ballustrade is is repairable. The section at the bottom has broken off completely from the rest of it. Is this something I can patch and repair? It looks as thought it has been repaired before (prior to me owning the property)

In its current position, you could only fill the crack with a cement filler, which would essentially patch or mask the damage rather than provide a long-term repair. To properly address the issue, you would need to perform some structural work, such as gluing the broken sections back together before applying any filler.

If the broken sections are still connected and cannot be easily separated, filling the crack might be your only option. However, if the sections can be moved or separated, the best approach would be to glue them back together first. A strong adhesive, such as Landscape Liquid Nails, would work well for this. Once the sections are securely glued and the adhesive has set, you can use a cement filler to smooth over the repaired area and restore its appearance.

Happy New Year sorry for delay this time of year lots of projects coming in.

We use a product called Silaflex Pro+ it is extemly strong yet it will allow some movement and not fail like the last repair.

Make sure you get the free larger size nozzle for the cartridge and a caulking gun to pump this stuff into the cracks.

If the concrete bits come apart then get some help and lift them apart it will make for a better repair.

Apply Pro+ to both sides of the breaks and then re join them together holding them closed as close as possible to minimse any gaps. Prop the cement tight with some bricks or timber.

If moving the ballusttrade is problematic or dangerous leave it in place and use the cauking gun and pump the crack full of sealant as much as possible use a bit of wire to wipe through into the crack to try to evenly apply sealent to both sides of the crack.

Finish filling the crack level with the surface Clean up any mess with turps and a rag wipe / clean the top side of the ballustrade with a rag wet with turps it will smooth the repair excess and clean any mess,

Later this is a paintable product .

Get this product bonding to both halves and it will serve you well.

A cement product used here could crack and fail in this situation again.
