I love them. That’s a large seed pod. Once it’s dried out it opens and all the winged seeds will disperse in the winds. &lt;P&gt;Your plant appears to be &lt;A href="https://www.google.com/search?q=are+Stephanotis+floribunda+Brongn.+fruit+edible%3F&amp;amp;rlz=1C1GKLA_enAU760AU837&amp;amp;hl=en-GB&amp;amp;sxsrf=AJOqlzV3FSdkRwShPNNJOqkmIqWM2wtwzw:1677547166024&amp;amp;source=lnms&amp;amp;tbm=isch&amp;amp;sa=X&amp;amp;ved=2ahUKEwjC37KXhrf9AhWKyDgGHQraD5UQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&amp;amp;biw=2195&amp;amp;bih=1163&amp;amp;dpr=1.75" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Stephanotis floribunda Brongn&lt;/A&gt;. It looks like Star Jasmin but is not of the genus Jasminum.
