Hi @nila,

Thank you for your question.

You should start by chipping away any of the loose material and cleaning the area as best you can to promote good adhesion.

You should then fill the voids with Dunlop Ardit Rapidset Repair Mortar up to the same level as the rest of the concrete and smoothing it over with a pointing trowel. This product will set hard and form a good substrate for the tiles to eventually go over the top.

Please remember when working with any concrete products to wear all relevant personal protective equipment including gloves, eye protection and a mask.

Let me know if you require further assistance.

How to repair concrete stairs?

Hi I’ve been removing some tiles from external stairs and found that some of the concrete stairs need repair. What should I use to fill the holes in the pictures? I’m going to re tile the area when this is complete. The concrete is at least 20 years old so I don’t think there will be any more movement. Thanks.
