Bathtub corroded need advice for repairing
Hello @Hemazaer
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, thanks for sharing your question about your damaged bath and basin.
For the basin I suggest using the White Knight rust guard system. The general steps are to sand the side of the basin to remove any residual dust, I then recommend using White Knight rust converter, followed by the primer then the top coat. Once the paint has fully cured, please remember to silicone seal the edge of the basin with Selleys 300g White Wet Area Waterproof Silicone Sealant.
For the bath, I suggest using PC-11 56g White Epoxy Paste to cover the rust spot and applying Rust-Oleum 13.3ml White Tub And Tile Touch Up Kit on the putty surface. The general steps will be to sand the surface of the rusted area and clean the surface very well. Apply White Knight rust converter on the metal surface wipe clean and make sure the surface is totally dry before you apply the Epoxy paste. Once the putty has cured you can then apply the touch up paint. My best advice is to make sure to feather the edge of the epoxy paste so that it blends in with the surface of the tub.
