I read a thread here about how to fix my OWS 1870 Sprayer and followed the you tube link a Bunnings guy recommended https://youtu.be/_XhWGmbfKWw?si=-GodW1V2p2heWNfQ
It was helpful and I adapted for my model- but I didn’t take a photo of the way the pump was installed before I pulled it out- rookie error.
Now I can’t get the pump back into place to test if it has worked?
I attempted this because I had eliminated all other potential issues so it was a Hail Mary because I am some distance from Bunnings and was trying to avoid the trip.
In order to have the nozzle in the right spot for the Oring to be secured when the base plate goes back on I cannnot seat it back properly.
it feels back to front?!
Please please help me- there is no diagram or photo I can find of the assembly and I am pretty desperate.
Hello @kirkyroberto
The video you linked to actually has an image of the position of the motor before it was totally disassembled. I've placed an image below to give you an idea of how the motor is positioned. Your last photo is very close to the actual position except the motor should be on the right-hand side. Please have a look at the image below and let us know if you have any other questions about its position. Some parts of the pipe assembly might need to be repositioned as they are facing in the other direction.
