I live in a very small space and all space is at a premium. I need a small square table, box, shelf to put a printer on. I was thinking to get the exact size I want, I can add some prefab legs to a precut (or cut to size) slab (?) and voila! New table. My question is, if the table top has no fittings, but the legs have the screw in thing, what fittings do I need and are these SUPER simple to work with?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @SharonS1971. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about creating a table.
One of the simplest solutions might be to use a Clever Cube as your base — they’re sturdy, come in compact sizes, and give you a neat, square shape to work with. You can easily attach furniture legs to the bottom using leg connector plates, which are designed for exactly this sort of job.
The plates screw into the underside of the surface, and then your prefab legs simply screw into the plates. It’s a very straightforward process and perfect for a DIY project.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
