Re: making DIY wardrobe look seamless ?

Hello @Johnwalker387

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your wardrobe. You could try and speak to the manufacturer of the cabinets and see if they have kickboards or tall panels in the same finish as your wardrobe cabinets. This will allow you to cut down the cover that you need to give the wardrobe a more seamless look. Another option is to use plywood and see if you can stain it in the same finish as the cabinetry.

Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their recommendations.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Afternoon @Johnwalker387

I just had a google to make sure that what I thought was right. Ikea does stiock end panels that you could use that would match what you have.

I am presuming you are refering to the side of the panel that is closest to the photographer? Ikea also stocks kickboards that will match your cupboards.

Hi @Johnwalker387

I would be inclined to simply paint the end wall sections in a similar colour. It will be far a simpler task than trying to match the timber and then be faced with end raised out from the front of the WIR shelving, which will be less cometicaly finished.
