Question for the foam cannon fiends, I recently bought the portable Ryobi 36v 1200psi Pressure Washer for doing odd jobs around the house and car washing duty.

I also bought the Ryobi 600ml foam cannon for it
https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-600ml-pressure-washer-detergent-bottle_p0743368
I put 300ml of pressure washing soap in the cannon and tested it on the deck out the back and I didn't get a nice even coating of foam. It burnt through the soap in about 5 seconds and this was with the soap setting on 'low'. (It wasn't genuine Ryobi soap)
Has anyone else encountered this before? Am I missing something?
Cheers.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @CargonDiez. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about foam dispensers.
That does sound unusually fast, even with 300ml of detergent in the bottle. I’d normally expect that amount to last closer to a minute of spraying. It will disperse the soap fairly quickly, but you should still be getting a consistent, even layer of foam during that time.
If you’re not getting that even coverage, or it’s burning through the soap in just a few seconds, it might indicate an issue with the foam cannon itself. I’d suggest taking it back to your local store and having a chat with the team to confirm how it’s performing. They should be able to swap it over for a replacement since the dispenser appears to be faulty.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
