Thanks @Jason. Yes, this is the front garden. Plan is 600mm high, pine sleeper retaining wall.

Put drainage fabric, a slotted socked agi pipe and a tone of drainage gavel behind wall before back fill.

another way you could have done this is using concrete sleepers, which my cousin makes
