I am using the Jack Matrix at a non standard size. I am thinking about glueing timber/aluminium false boarder. Please advise what glue or other would secure.
Hello @WendyG2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about using Jack Matrix panels.
If you are screwing timber to the edge of the Matrix panels, I suggest building the false border like a frame. This will provide strength and rigidity for the panel. The panel can then be screwed onto the frame using Zenith 8G x 20mm Galvanised Button Head Stitching Timber Screws - 30 Pack or thicker depending on the thickness of the timber you'll be using. For aluminium I suggest using Zenith 8G x 12mm Galvanised Button Head Metal Screws - 35 Pack. Just keep in mind that the Matrix panel is not that stiff so any additions you make to it must serve as support for the panel. As for the glue, I suggest using Selleys 250g Liquid Nails Clear Construction Adhesive.
