Dining table made using four pallets
1. D.I.Y. table made from pallets by @Peggers
Rob loves “indulging his inner tradie at weekends” but reckons he started this popular table without much of a plan. He used four pallets, two of which he took completely apart, then inserted the strips of wood into the gaps on the other pallets to make a solid tabletop. You can make your own by following Rob's step-by-step instructions in this guide: How to build a pallet timber table.
2. Recycled pallet wood outdoor table by @LePallet
This enormous outdoor table measures 2.1 by 1.6 metres and was almost entirely made from recycled timber. Pallet wood aficionado Rylie used a small gas blowtorch to apply a burn effect before applying timber oil to bring out the grain in the wood.
3. Pallet bench seat with storage and planter boxes by @LePallet
This multi-purpose creation is not only a bench seat, it also has planter boxes on each side and a hinged lid for handy storage. Rylie always happy to share his tips for building pallet wood creations, so feel free to ask him to help if you would like to build something similar.
4. Pallet bar by @Yorky88
Bar made with pallet wood.
This portable bar made using recycled pallet wood and some Jarrah boards would make a great addition to an outdoor entertaining area. Pallet master creator Marty recommends that builders just ensure any overhanging ledge is well supported underneath as leaning on it is going to be a very popular pastime. Marty has since shared other fantastic pallet bar designs with the community.
5. Pallet couch day bed by @Yorky88
The base frame for this outdoor couch was built using treated pine, and then it was clad using recycled pallet timber.
6. D.I.Y. outdoor timber table and bench seats by @Yorky88
Marty “knocked this up in a couple of hours using some timber he had lying around”. The discussion below his original post is also handy for advice on the most appropriate and long-lasting finish for outdoor furniture.
7. Barbecue workbench by @DesRigby
This functional barbecue workbench was created for just $200 by repurposing storage racking and using a Bamboo timber benchtop. Hooks for cooking utensils, a removable side shelf and castors for mobility were also added.
Outdoor bar project
8. Outdoor bar project by @Starkers_17
This inspiring outdoor entertaining project features a stone-clad bar. We also love the combination of steel and timber used for the striking bar stools.
9. Twin garden seat by @WoodenGregsWood
Do you spend countless hours maintaining your garden but never sit down and enjoy it? This twin garden seat could help remedy that problem, and also encourage some quality time with a loved one. It was built with treated pine based on a design from Buildeazy.com, but Greg recommends changing the middle table into a cooler with flip-top lid so you wouldn't even have to get up to get a new drink.
10. Outdoor sofa using recycled decking timber by @Stuardo
An outdoor sofa can be the perfect place to relax and enjoy the afternoon sun. Stuardo used recycled decking timber for his popular creation, and later returned to share the completed sofa complete with white paint-job and cushions. @LePallet has also made a similar outdoor couch using pallet wood.
