We used the Dulux Renovation Range tile paint to update and refresh our bathroom. First we removed all of the silicone from the tiles using silicone softener and a Stanley knife. Before priming the tiles we made sure all the tiles were clean using Selley's sugar soap. We did 3 coats of the renovation range paint and then sealed with the recommended top coat and silicone. The old vanity was removed and replaced with a fresh white modern unit. We replaced the dated vinyl flooring with modern tiles and upgraded the tapware.

A year later our tiles still look amazing and all done for under $1000.00

Highly recommend!

Re: DIY bathroom budget makeover using paint

Well done with your budget renovation, @RickyandPenny! The bathroom looks a million bucks.

You've certainly made the most of the Dulux Renovation and range. Those tiles came up a treat, and I can't believe it's the same bathroom. I'm sure your post will significantly inspire any of our members considering a similar makeover.

Fantastic work, and many thanks for sharing.

Mitchell
