Re: How to fix leaking Mondella overture shower wall mixture tap?

Hello @Cully

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your shower wall mixer.

The general sequence is to remove the cover cap by twisting it anti-clockwise. You'll then see the brass locking nut which you'll need to use an adjustable wrench to remove by turning anti-clockwise. Once the brass locking nut is removed, you just need to pull the ceramic disc out of the main body and find a similar cartridge in the same size and shape with the same bottom.

Simply reverse the disassembly sequence to reassemble the shower mixer. Please make sure not to over tighten the brass locking nut or you will crack the ceramic disc and you'll get a leak again.

Please make sure to turn off your mains water before you begin disassembly. Please note that should you not be able to find a suitable replacement cartridge, I recommend engaging the services of a registered plumber to change and replace your entire shower mixer to a new model.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
